As far as I can tell, he became an experimental cyborg in order to get information on the World Government, but they just turned him into an android and made copies of him. |

Maybe, but it's the government who picks out the shichibukai. If they think he's an incrediby powerful and very dangerous pirate, they'll try to recruit him.

Well, there's four Shichibukai left, and Buggy's immune to Mihawk on principle, Don Flamingo can't control two bodies at once, so Buggy may be able to split in order to screw up his mind control. Course he'd still get stomped by Boa and Kuma. And that's only if Mihawk and Flamingo don't simply resort to using their fists.

I don't know... it seems to me that if anyone was able to actually cut Buggy, it'd be Mihawk. Maybe he can use Haki and disable Buggy's devil fruit powers or something. Although it'd wouldn't be the first time that a fairly weak-seeming Devil Fruit was able to defend really well against a hugely powerful character... Moria is still alive, iirc.
We don't know that for sure. Especially given that the last time we saw him he was being attacked by Doflamingo and a group of Pacifistas... |

Also, I love all the rookies. I think it would be cool if we got like, a mini-arc of one of the crews. Or maybe a cover story or something.
