I think it's the part where the pacing isn't sucking.

I think it's the part where the pacing isn't sucking. It's not just that. Almost everything Bleach does seems to be done better by One Piece.

I think it's the part where the pacing isn't sucking. It's not just that. Almost everything Bleach does seems to be done better by One Piece. I don't know about everything, I think Bleach has got a more intricate and interesting plot at times. I mean, One Piece's entire plot can be summed up with "Pirates! Great Treasure! DO WANT!" I know that recently it's also become a lot more about Whitebeard and the marines and stuff like that, but the overall plotline is the most basic you can get. It works, but it's very simple. However, without wanting to make Bleach sound bad (I quite like mah Bleach.), I think One Piece kicks it's ass in terms of characters and emotion. The heroes in One Piece are IMO much more likeable and interesting than Bleach's. With villains, it's less noticable, since Aizen is a pretty cool villain. One Piece has had a lot of great villains though. And, again IMO, One Piece is a lot more heartwarming, sad, happy and most other emotions than Bleach is. There are so many heartwarming moments from One Piece that just made me feel all happy inside, and only a few from Bleach.

I don't know, the plots of the individual arcs of One Piece can be pretty good. The getting treasure bit is just one part of the overall storyline.
One Piece is also a lot more balanced in terms of character development. Even the main characters of Bleach can be pretty one-sided at times, whereas all the Straw Hats get their moments to shine.

Yeah, that's true. I'd still argue that they're always fairly simple, but then again, it works really well.
Yeah, that too. That's one of my main gripes with Bleach... too many characters, too few of the fleshed out.

More importantly, while some of the characters can be weak and only seem to exist for the purpose of being rescued *coughNami/Usoppcough*, none of them are permanent residents of Team Jobber, unlike...oh, Renji, Uryu, the Visored, and CHAD

Renji and Chad I can understand, but why are you including Uryu and the Vizard in that? Kubo's given them a pretty good deal. Anyway, the Vizards aren't even part of the "main party", so to speak.
I'd say Renji's the one that gets screwed over the most. The last power upgrade he got was his Bankai way back in Soul Society, while Chad got his upgraded arm powers in Hueco Mundo. Chad also managed to win a fight by himself in Hueco Mundo, whereas Renji's only fought as part of a group or pair. And in the one fight where he might have gotten a chance to shine, he got crippled thanks to his opponent planning ahead and disabling his bankai. He then had to get bailed out by first Uryu and then Mayuri.
Still, he has been given a bit of spotlight in the Zanpakuto filler arc, so it's sort of evening out.

How is it that each consucutive chapter seems to get more epic than the last? How is that even possible?
Crocodile showing us again why he's such a cool character, Whitebeard's crazy-preparedness, and it looks like Sengoku's finally going to get his hands dirty.

I'm hoping all this epicness won't overshadow the Luffy vs whoever he has to fight in order to get to Ace, or if Whitebeard saves Ace, then who he has to fight to escape.
