Gunbuster was pretty good. I liked the ending. It was a bit boring though.

Diebuster done.
It was pretty damn weird. Characters weren't nearly as bad as Gunbuster, but still not great. The plot was way too weird, abstract, and weak. Action was good, but was a bit hampered down by how damn silly all the main Buster Machines looked. Also Nono being a Buster Machine that controlled the space monsters was, imo, a pretty lame plot twist. Oh, and the ending was bad too.
Overall, slightly better than Gunbuster but still just ok.

You say this like those are bad things. Not so much bad as a minus. As in, it took away from the enjoyment but didn't ruin it. I like some weird and abstract but it was too much. |
