._. It keeps getting more creepy...
Also, damnit, I swear Sumomo should annoy the hell out of me but I can't help thinking she's so damn cute! ... Until the last few episodes then they ruin her. >_>

Done with Chobits...
Eh, mixed feelings. It did have some funny jokes, some parts were good. Overall though it's kinda creepy, like Ahriman said it's like someone's self indulgent fantasy (minor spoilers)They went way overboard with Chii's ****, holy **** guys it's not a shrine. Don't word things like "You are not allowed to enter!". I checked how the dubbed worded it to see if it sounded less creepy: "So don't... try to come inside!" >_>, and it does take away from the plot quite a bit... not to mention the "plot" only shows up in maybe 10 episodes. The rest is episodic, so hit or miss. Oh, and two recap episodes, which is ridiculous for a 26 episode anime (Some sites list them as side episodes, thus making it 24 episodes long, but still counts). Ending felt rushed yet still strung out, so not sure what they were doing with that. I did rate it kinda high, since I did enjoy it despite its many flaws. Eh, not something I'd recommend though.
Side note: Minoru in the dub is voiced by the same guy who did Izzy from Digimon. Even though I didn't watch the dub except to check something (the part in the spoilers) I found it eerie...

Try Samurai Champloo if you want. Not sure if you'll like it. Personally I thought it was a lot better than Cowboy Bebop, but whatever. If not, you can always watch Baccano. That show is so incredibly violent but manages to be so very light-hearted at the same time. >_>

So, your recommendations are:
Yu Yu Hakusho Dark Than BLACK Samurai Champloo Baccano
Yes?

I don't remember recommending YYH, but go ahead and include that in my list considering how it's in my top 5. You might call it a bit generic, but it's extremely good.
So yeah, those are all of my recommendations.

Instead of watching Baccano, I suggest you watch Bokurano.
Consecutively.
No (non-biological) breaks.
Without flinching.

I've heard about that show. It sounds creepy.

I just remember you discussing it, and it was in a way that pegged it as one of your personal "auto-recommend" animes. TBH I saw the art design of it and wasn't too interested... Instead of watching Baccano, I suggest you watch Bokurano.

As in, don't stop an episode until it's finished?

Understandable. It's also very long compared to the other shows I've recommended, so I guess it'd make sense to watch the others first.
Nevertheless, I'd highly recommend it. It actually has some really good animation at points. The only con is that it doesn't really have good music save for the opening song which I like a lot for some reason. >_>

Also, I don't think "creepy" was the right word for what I've heard of Bokurano. "Disturbing" maybe?

As in, don't stop an episode until it's finished? Partly, but more like take your breaks in between episodes, and don't stop watching the series until it's finished. In one day.

I'm going to hold off on Darker than BLACK, as I'll probably want to watch the second season and having THREE animes that are ongoing is already very annoying. YYH I probably won't watch next for length reasons. Which leaves Samurai Champloo, Baccano, and Bokurano (which I doubt I'll watch in a day, my anime daily tolerance isn't quite that high)...

Yeah, a bunch of the shows I'm watching are on-going, hence why I'm holding off on FMA:B and Umineko until they finish. FMA seems like it'll be better if I marathon it anyways. I'm also taking a break from One Piece.
Come to think of it, I haven't watched that much anime lately besides One Piece and Baccano. Well, whatever. Out of the two you have left over from my recommendation list, I'd say go for Samurai Champloo.

Try Yu Yu Hakusho. I've never seen anyone flat out dislike it so when you do I can continue raging at you.
