I spent a while trying to find a good Aku profile pic the other day, but couldn't find one.

Jesus Christ, you're already done? >_>

However, I am verily pleased with what you think of the show. It's better than Cowboy Bebop, right?

There was no way that you could even possibly think that I would like SC more than CB if you know anything about me at all.

I stayed up till 5 in the morning watching it. >_>

Yes it is. I didn't warm up to some of the style at first, and still don't like certain elements of it's style (the joke of Fuu getting fat I didn't find funny), but I did warm up to a lot of it. Action was excellent, good humor, it had good characters (although I would have loved to see more Jin, with his hair up. >_>). Ending was eh... not great but not bad. I halfway was hoping that Jin and Mugen had fatal wounds, thus when they fought in the last episode they would both stab and kill each other. It would have shown how much they grew to respect each other, that they wanted the other person to be the one to take their life.

Although, I have to ask... what's with animes like Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo having all the gay jokes? >_>

The ending was that they found purpose beyond revenge/bloodshed. None of them had any good reason to live besides that. Jin and Mugen didn't have a good reason to go with Fuu either, but they just did it, despite their pasts. And the Christianity thing was an awesome backdrop for it all.

The only thing I was kind of disappointed in was the lack of characters, who should've come back, coming back (that gay assassin, that spy chick that would amrry mugen etc.

Indeed, the lack of recurring characters besides the policeman was rather disappointing. However, while I did greatly enjoy the series as a whole, the thing that bothered me most was the very obvious focus on Mugen as opposed to Jin, who I actually liked more.

Agreed. I appreciate the fleshing out of characters that would only last one episode, however some really needed to be in more than one. A few were ok in a single episode (Ukon comes to mind), but many should of had a few more episodes.

The ending was that they found purpose beyond revenge/bloodshed. None of them had any good reason to live besides that. Jin and Mugen didn't have a good reason to go with Fuu either, but they just did it, despite their pasts. And the Christianity thing was an awesome backdrop for it all.

It certainly wasn't a bad ending, they did a good job of having the characters grow through out the anime. I just thought my other suggestion would have been cool as well.
