Did I call it the best? No, but I find them worthy enough to check on once in a while.
You said it was one of two comics that doesn't suck..... So pretty much yeah.

I'm going to test you. I'm going to say one name, and you have to tell me what it has to do with webcomics.
Bryon.

You can't prove me a fool, Only a fool would try that because it's already been proven that I am a fool. Hmmmm.....

I like some rather obscure stuff.
For example, I like Geist Panik, but for it's tendency to have badly written dialogue. One of my favorites is a comic called Parallel Dimentia. It was kinda meh at first, but got really badass once the author/artist cranked up his art skills to epic levels. And then, there's Snafu Comics. Mostly I just go there becauase of Bleedman and all the weird **** Alex Pardee pulls, but I'd really rather like it if Darkling went back to comic making. And of course, who could forget 8BT. Brian Clevinger is one of the gods of webcomics.

I'm an art **** so I like finding comics that look pretty....
My first comic was Little Gamers, I started read about halfway through 2001 after a friend recomened it. I started following where he linked and soon started to read quite a few.
Dueling Analogs is one of my favourites right now and I enjoy TPS too....

My daily Webcomic runs includes:
8-Bit Theater CAD: (Though I'm quickly drifting away from it, mostly cause the author's a douche) Penny-Arcade PVP: See CAD Dr. McNinja XKCD Geist Panik
And I occasionally stop by others at random. Used to be a big fan of Bob and George, but that's just cause it was the second webcomic I came across, the first being Crash and Bass.

I've been completely out of touch with webcomics lately, not that I was ever a webcomic buff or anything. Favourite's probably Awkward Zombie, and Fanboys is decent, but what makes it really entertaining is lurking around their forums. Good number of artists there too.

Sexy Losers. Seriously awesome webcomic, and not just because it's sexually graphic and disgusting.
Other than that, I have nothing.
