I saw some user on last.fm that had this as his avatar a while back, and I thought it was pretty cool. However, I had no clue which manga it was from, so I just stopped caring. It was chance that I learned which manga the picture was from earlier today, and I had no way to verify if it was actually was from this outside of actually reading the **** thing.

Pfft, no. There's still way, way too much stuff about Shiro, Ganta's mom, the earthquake, the origin of the Wretched Egg and the Deadmen, the thing with the Woodpecker song, etc. for it to end that soon.

Plus, y'know, all the fighting.

Ever since about chapter 30, this pace of this manga has started to go into overdrive. It seems as if it doesn't stop immediately, it will probably burn through all available content and force itself to either end or become a zombie. Granted, this would be a perfect opportunity to end this and allow Ganta to angst for a chapter or two, as at least the main goal of the arc has been accomplished.

Tamaki doesn't fit. Out of every character with Freudian excuses, this guy has the one that is the most disproportionate. His backstory is unnerving, his final moments are unnerving, and this final shot is unnerving. With every character considered, I found Tamaki to be the most unnerving, and well... even though he's dead, he's probably more disturbing now than ever.
