The Qliphoth is weird. EDIT: Oh boy, Guts versus Slan. Oh, and the Skull Knight is here to help. EDIT: Ladies and gentlemen: SLAN. (NSFW) EDIT: Heh, wow. Nice sword.EDIT: GUTS VERSUS GRUNBELD. I've always had a tendency to like a certain minor character from every work more than I should, and I think that Grunbeld is Berserk's example. EDIT: BERSERKER. Is this Emperor Gaiseric's armor? EDIT: Oh my ****ing god...EDIT: Here he is... Ganishka!EDIT: http://www.mangareader.net/96-1147-125/berserk/chapter-27.htmlGanishka strikes me as being like a comic book villain. In fact, I have heard comparisons between him and Darkseid. This is not a bad thing; Ganishka is a horrible beast, but it makes him into a villain of epic proportions. I expect to like him in a shock and awe kind of way; he's a cruel, heartless monster, but his villainy is on such a scale that it's hard not to be impressed by what he brings into play. EDIT: Done for now, at 252 chapters out of 319. I plan on getting up to date by Saturday, in celebration of the one-year anniversary since I caught up with Claymore. I think it's fitting.

http://www.mangareader.net/96-1150-88/berserk/chapter-30.htmlHoly ****, Isidro has gotten pretty tone. http://www.mangareader.net/96-1150-116/berserk/chapter-30.html...and Emperor Ganishka knows how to put on a show. He may be hideous and stereotypical, but he's a pretty damn awesome villain. http://www.mangareader.net/96-1150-118/berserk/chapter-30.htmlThe Kushan war is interesting. It's something that has been ingrained in Berserk's canon as the world conflict, yet it has never been something that involved Guts and his party. Guts has been involved in minor skirmishes, such as the beginning and end of the Birth Ceremony arc, but they served as random occurrences with little relevance from Guts' perspective; just another day in the life, as it were. However, even with this, it's still made very apparent that this war and genocide is going on; even as Guts fights Rosine and Mozgus, even as he defends a town from Trolls and even as he stops at Vritannis on his journey to Elfheim, this is still made out to be a relevant world issue. I have to admit that Berserk did a better job with the Kushan war than it did with reminding us that Godhand is still relevant. After 150 chapters in this new world, with the Kushan empire flexing its military muscle, I'm really curious of what the world will be like once Ganishka is defeated. As of the point where I am, Ganishka is the most influential figure in the world, moreso than even Griffith; when Griffith's forces triumph over him, what will become of the world of Berserk? Then again, I could always rely on what is already certain: everything will become even worse.

Or maybe he'll lose another eye and learn how to use his gigantic sword with one hand and a cane with the other.
No, wait! He'll lose a leg and grow up to be just like Gambino!

He'll angst about the fact that he can't have sex with Casca and activate his Beherit.

Forget the Behelit the Berserker's armor will just grow a big metal one whenever he uses it.

He'll resign himself to his failure and end up becoming Griffith's lackey again.

The final scene of Berserk will involve Griffith **** Guts. That's right, Guts will be so pathetic that he ends up taking it, not Griffith.
