I didn't haven't had problems with the anime (except with how Roberta got onto the roofs in a car with a destroyed carburetor), but I understand how you feel about the manga. I can't wait to see the part with the American soldiers running through Roanapur in the anime. I couldn't understand how certain characters weren't getting shot and what Revy and co. were trying to do exactly.
Where are you at in the manga?

Hey guys, I get to watch five episodes of Fist of the North Star devoted to flashbacks of dead characters who have no bearing on the show anymore. Next episode revolves around Juda, who was alive for all of 4 episodes!
Also, Toki is dead. He should have died in episode 72 during his completely and utterly awesome battle with Raoh. All they used him for here is a method to make another minor character seem more important.

I wanted to watch something along the lines of Jigoku Shoujo though, so this is kinda not what I was aiming for.

Wow. Episode 10 was actually satisfying.
Though I have to say, there was one thing I mocked throughout the episode. Alice was trying to kill Kirihara with a six shot revolver, was under the influence of drugs and was firing erratically at nothing. Kirihara could have charged the **** while she would inevitably have to clumsily reload her revolver, thus preventing her from being killed later in the episode and causing problems. Yet she didn't. Retarded.
Also, Wei was really, really hot.
