I’ve been recently entertaining the thought of how cool it would be to have a team of developers create a game based off a character or series I created. While having “Team Powerz” adapted into a fighting game would be awesome, I would probly go with a different series only for the consoles. This is Tuff the Tuatara. Haven’t decided on a color scheme just yet… Tuff has the power to suck away the “age” of anything within his limits, essentially returning the target to its newest state. His power is to literally inhale time itself. He stores the time he “takes” inside his belly, and converts it into energy. He fires this energy from his mouth in concentrated orbs that rapidly age his foes or other obstacles in his path. In addition to being able to age others, Tuff can use the time he took to age himself. Being a Tuatara, Tuff’s body is able to withstand the stress of aging 200 years without growing weak. His razor sharp claws allow him to climb on most surfaces and slash up enemies. Tuff is the youngest of the mysterious Tuatara Tribe that has dominion over Time and Land. There are two other Tribes that keep the world they share in balance: The Macaw Tribe (dominion over Space and Sky) and the Jellyfish Tribe (dominion over Life/Death and Ocean. Each tribe protects their respective Relic which bestows power unto “chosen” tribe members. It came to the Macaw Tribe’s attention that fewer and fewer of their tribe members were being chosen to bear the Relic’s power. The Macaw Tribe was thrown into panic, and feared that the Relic was going to betray them because of their malevolence toward the other tribes. The Macaw Elder suggested that the tribe change their ways before it was too late, but was interrupted by a black-colored Macaw. The black Macaw dismissed the notion that the Relic could make such silly judgments, as it is merely an “object of power”. He exclaimed that the Relic simply needs more power…the power that only another Relic could poses. The Elder was against stealing another Relic, but the black Macaw didn’t back down. A battle challenge of power was declared between the two, and the Elder was defeated. The Macaw Tribe had a new leader now, whose sights were set on the Tuatara Relic! The Macaw warriors swooped down from the Canopy and took the Tuatara by surprise. The Macaw swallowed the Tuatara in pocket dimensions before they even had a chance to counter attack. The black Macaw finally made his way into the Relic Temple of the Tuatara. There he was confronted by the Tuatara Elder and his grandson, Tuff. A battle emerged from the encounter, but the Tuatara Elder was defeated and locked away into a pocket dimension. Just before the Elder was sealed, he shouted for Tuff to take the Relic and run. Tuff swallowed the Tuatara Relic and tunneled underground. The black Macaw was preoccupied with sealing the Elder to act in time. Soon after, the black Macaw found himself surrounded by Tuatara warriors. He quickly fled, taking the Tuatara Elder with him… The story follow Tuff as he harnesses the raw power of his tribe’s Relic in order to restore peace and save his people from the wicked Macaw. Tuff the Tuatara would most likely be a 3D platformer.

Sounds more like a puzzle game to me. I mean, strategic use of time? Maybe a puzzle platformer.

Tuff the Tuatara in color: Not many changes from the initial drawing of Tuff. His color scheme started off as yellow, then orange, but brown worked the best. heeeeey shinoby

Thanks, I was hoping you wouldn't mind. That snapshot was from a while ago, I'll upload the finished product once it's colored.

It can be at times; Tuff's claws and eyes gave me some trouble, haha. Using this program is a lot like working with clay though, so if you have enough patience the result usually looks quite nice.
I should be able to upload a finished pic either later tonight or tomorrow morning.
