So I was looking at some of my older drawings and stumbled upon my Bleach-styled self portrait from last year. I thought about it and wanted to expand on the Bleach aspect of the drawing...

Not having a sufficient amount of black forced me to color it on the computer. Working with a mouse was uncomfortable...but it turned out alright.

Of course my theme is electric. Surprise, surprise.

Christ, man. Have you thought of doing this for a living in some form?

Yeah. In a few months or so, maybe my ideas will be ready to pitch.

Just noticed yellow shirt and tie under robe.

Awesome.

Thanks.

Continuing along with the Bleach theme again. This time with the sword "released", also known as "Shikai" in the world of Bleach.

I really like how the black robes Bleach characters wear make poses like this easier and less incorrect, as it hides so much anatomical information. I couldn't recreate the exact same color pallet as the previous picture, so that bothered me a little...

Anyway, as for sword abilities, I didn't put much creativity into it...

Its basicly 3 electrified free-floating rings that can expand or contract. Besides melee and mid-long range strikes, it can mimic up to 3 energy-based projectile attacks. While in mimic mode, a ring becomes unusable for attacks and attaches to the right arm, and the opponent's sword extends out of the bladeless hilt. A "Bankai"(the final stage of the sword) can be copied, but renders all 3 rings unusable.

I think I like this one a little better, if only for the rising movements it appears to have.

Where's the handle of the sword? It looks pretty big in the other drawing but you can't see it at all in this one.

Still badass though.

Just out of curiousity.... How exactly do you colour and ink that?

You said you use a mouse but I want to know what programs and such.... You scanned it in right?

Thanks.

Its just the perspective/foreshortening of the picture, although its a little off now that you mention it. Some of the handle should have been visible there...

Yeah. I drew it on paper first, and then I color it using the Paint program that was already on the computer.
