What? Of course it was a Gainax Ending, it was the ending of a show produced by Gainax. |

Yoko doesn't exactly have a great time in the series either. Yeah, she's happy when she's teaching, but when you consider both her main love interests are killed off just moments after she confesses her feelings...And I fail to see how Simon not being pissed off makes it any better. |
