I was curious today about the Atari 2600, I never grew up with the system and it came before the NES, so naturally I decided to do some research and play it. I first started with Adventure, it may or may not have been a good decision, but for game that's nearly thirty years old it's surprisingly complex. I also decided to pick up the Atari port of Pac-Man, uh oh! A contributor to the video game depression! I was honestly shocked, despite the graphics being horribly dated in comparison to the smoother arcade graphics, gameplay-wise it's actually pretty faithful. The only thing I have against it, is how the ghosts blink very harassingly and how two tend to stick together alot.
So yeah, had some fun with that. My favorite's the port of Battlezone, it's pretty fun actually. The tank you control in game, actually looks more like a real tank than the ones in the original arcade game....
