(Spoilers)
Cutting out CERN made the camerlengo's plan seem self destructist, for one thing. Why would the villain hire someone to unfold his masterplan? All the emotion was also cut from the movie. There seemed to be hardly any motivation in the protagonist's countenance. It felt like they were just there, solving a mystery. I could tolerate. But at the end. Everything from the helicopter scene on felt horribly wrong. It was so drastically altered. And they removed the best scene from the book: the scene where Carlo and the cardinals, Vittoria, and Langdon confront eachother over Carlo's actions. Damn you Ron Howard. DAAMN YOOOU.

Interesting that you'd make this topic when an antimatter bomb was just mentioned elsewhere...
And I've heard this before, but what was CERN?

CERN was a science research facility where Langdon was summoned in the book to investigate a suspected murder at the hands of the Illuminati.
Although, I'm 90% positive it's a real organization as well. Dedicated to super advanced science and **** like that.
