Bleah, I meant to start much earlier today... Trouble is it's getting to the point where I'm having to think about when I want to allow my pokemon to evolve, and what moves I want them to learn. Still, I've managed to sort that out, so it's back to pre-Gym training.

Actually, sod it. I'm going to attempt the Gym right now. Muscle's a high enough level (and she'll become stronger as I take down the other Gym trainers), and I can bait-and-switch with the pokemon to level up my own ones.

Well, visually this place hasn't changed much. It still has walls and obstacles in the shape of a big Clefairy. the main difference is the different levels you have to walk on to get through the maze. Sometimes you're on the ground, sometimes you're walking on one of the walls.

Well that wasn't too bad. Once again, I don't see what the fuss is about with Whitney's Miltank, but then again, I did face it with a female Machop. It probably woud've been a different story if I'd been using a male pokemon, as it knows Attract. And admittedly I did have to use a Super Potion, but otherwise it only took two Low Kick attacks from Muscle. And Whitney's Clefairy? Down with one Karate Chop. So, after Whitney's defeat-induced tantrum, I recieved the Plain Badge and TM45: Attract.
In petty-yet-disappointing news, it seems that all the Johto Gym Badges will now be the same grey colour scheme as the Zephyr Badge. Rather dull, I think...

Okay, I'm going to spend the rest of the evening levelling up the last few pokemon I need to. I'll be heading out for Ecruteak City tomorrow, and I'll try to get started on it sooner than I did today.
