Tried GameFAQS already?

I tried a couple of searches and found nothing helpful. It didn't really help that I wasn't sure exactly what to search for.

I played my friend's copy of the game for 20 minutes and received 4 phone calls about evolutionary stones.

And day ends at 6 bro

Does the phone have a different morning/day/night system to the system that determines when different pokemon show up on certain Routes, then?

I'd always heard it went like this:
Morning: 4am-10am
Day: 10am-8pm
Night: 8pm-4am

Monday 17th May

7:02pm
I just got back from a good stroll with Pell while walking my dogs (more than 5000 steps), and I managed to find three Dive Balls with the Dowsing Machine. I'm rather pleased with that... Anyway, I'd best prepare myself. I've put off doing the Lighthouse for too long already...

7:50pm
Sorry, scratch that. I remembered a pokemon that I wanted to capture and that it could only be caught during the Morning or Day, so I figured I try and do that before Night fell. And I succeeded. I'm now the owner of a Corsola, whom I've named Ruby. Now I'm going to do the Lighthouse.

8:13pm
Pitcher just evolved into a Weepinbell!

10:48pm
A trainer I just beat on the third floor just asked me "How in the world do you go up? I want to visit the sick pokemon, but I can't get up there...". Well, mate, you could start by climbing that thumping great ladder right next to you. Just a thought... ¬_¬

11:13pm
I think I now know why the aforementioned trainer is so stuck. I went up to the next floor up from him and walked out of a side door... into thin air. I dropped out of the side of the lighthouse to an outside platform on a lower level. Still, once there, it's quite easy to find your way up. The guy's probably just scared of heights...

12:08am
Gomez just evolved into a Gloom!

12:21am
Well, that's the Lighthouse cleared. I guess the next stop is Cianwood City. Across the sea. A sea filled with Tentacool...

...This isn't going to be a fun trip... v_v

1:42am
Okay, I've got all my supplies in order, I've chosen my party for the journey to Cianwood, everything's in place. I shall set out first thing tomorrow. I swear.

What does the diveball do again?

It's 3.5x more effective on pokemon encountered while surfing or fishing than a regular Poke Ball. It also works on pokemon found underwater in R/S/E.

More to the point, it's one of the hardest poke balls to obtain in the 4th Generation. It can only be found on Pokewalker routes after a lot of steps have been taken in HG/SS, or as a reward for the pokemon news press in D/P/Pt.

Ah, okay. And you got three of them? Nice...

It's been quite a while but good luck with the lighthouse. Or, if you've beaten it.... Congratulations on beating the lighthouse. <_<

I've only done the first floor. I've been waiting for my mum to finish with the laptop.

The best ball is the dusk ball because it works at night and in caves.... That means anywhere.... It's 4x more effective than a Pokeball.... Only better thing is a master ball.... And the best thing is they're not rare at all....

Nah, it never got that hard. It would've been even easier if I wasn't trying to train up some of my lower-levelled pokemon.

I'm trying to be more diverse in my Poke Ball choices. For example, I'm catching all pokemon I fish for with Lure Balls. I'll definately be using Dusk Balls at some point, though. Especially when I start hunting for Legendaries, since a lot of them are in caves.
