Well, I've been able to understand english from pretty early on in life... Mostly because I've been a gamer since I was like, 4, and pretty much all the games I played was in english. And in Denmark, we don't synchronize everything and dub it with danish voices, (thank god) so english has always been present when watching movies.

Thank you. I honestly didn't notice it until AFTER I hit the post button... I'm getting sloppy. So how is Hammer's walking sprite?

Ah, I see...

He pretty much just looks like a regular Sudowoodo. Undecided

Ironically, I'm much better at english than danish, according to my grades at least >_>

Ah, well I guess that makes sense.

The name doesn't come from that Hammer, but I can see your reasoning.

Friday 16th April

2:55pm
The only major bit of news from last night's training is that Ratigan is now a Raticate. His name is now rather more fitting to his appearance.

3:17pm
McTwisp is now a Furret.

3:29pm
I just caught a Sunkern. Her name is Helia.

4:32pm
Pell just evolved into a Pidgeotto.

4:44pm
Hm... It seems Pell now flies behind me instead of just walking. Pretty cool, I guess...

11:22pm
Sorry for the lack of updates, it's just that not much has been happening. Anyway, I just randomly stumbled onto a Yanma, but accidentally knocked it out. Dammit...

11:34pm
Newton just evolved into a Quagsire.

11:39pm
Okay, I'm putting Drifter in the Day Care for a little while, since Hoppips are apparently useless in a battle... ¬_¬

12:44am
Just picked Drifter up from the Day Care. I think Game Freak may have finally realised how suspicious the dark doorway the Day Care lady walks into to get your pokemon looked...

1:05am
Drifter just evolved into a Skiploom. It seems he levels up pretty quickly too, thankfully...

Also, I just caused an Abra to have the Sleep status. It was rather cool to see a sleeping pokemon actually looking like it's asleep...

1:53am
Okay, I'm leaving it there for tonight. I'll explore Ecruteak tomorrow, I swear.

I UNDERSTAND WHY THE VULPIX IS CALLED SONATA

I AM SMRT. Also, caps.

I can understand putting Hoppip in the daycare... I think I really wanted to train one, but I could never get myself to actually do it ,because it was too much work. And I've trained magikarps.

Yeah, I tend to give my pokemon nicknames that will suit their final forms, and since Ninetales was something of an inspiration for my character Sonata...

Yeah, well at least Magikarp eventually becomes Gyarados. Skiploom and Jumpluff are hardly in the same league...

I usually give my characters whatever name pops into my mind when I catch them... like, my Rattata is named Tommy. I thought of Tommy because Rattata is the sound I imagine a machine gun making, and a classic machine gun like those used by gangsters in movies are called Tommyguns. So yeah...

That's true... It's just as much work though.

Yeah, it's one of the few that fits... Most of them don't really fit, unless you get really abstract. My Cyndaquil is called Nara, and if you know my character Nara, you'll know that a Cyndaquil, he ain't.

And why'd you pick up Drifter that fast?

Eh, maybe it'll fit a little better when he becomes a Typhlosion.

And I picked him up because I want to raise my pokemon myself as much as possible. I just wanted to give him a little boost so he would actually stand a chance against wild pokemon.

Saturday 17th April

8:17pm
I just got back from walking my dog. I decided to try the Pokewalker out for the first time. Lightyear is the pokemon walking with me, and at the time of writing, I've managed to clock up 4046 steps. I haven't tried catching any pokemon or finding any items yet, though...

Before I try anything like that, though, I'm going to take part in today's bug-catching contest. I'm actually going to try and win this time...

9:37pm
Okay, I had to take a break for dinner, but I've just started the BCC properly. And the second pokemon I come across? A Scyther. He almost took out Hollis as well. I'm just glad False Swipe left me with 1HP left... I'm going to sit out the rest of the contest and wait for the 20 minutes to elapse. Even if I don't win, I'll still get a Scyther out of it.

9:55pm
What the hell? I didn't even come in the top three. I lost to a bloody Kakuna! I know level plays a factor as well, but geez...

Anyway, I decided to name the Scyther "Cleaver".

10:38pm
Exploring Ecruteak City... It's gotten a rather nice makeover. I don't recognise the music at all, though... Maybe I need to listen to the original G/S/C music...

10:47pm
I just got the ItemFinder Dowsing MCHN.

10:53pm
Trouble at the Dance Theatre! A Kimono Girl is being harrassed by a Team Rocket Grunt. As usual, it falls to me to sort things out. ¬_¬

10:57pm
Well that was easy. Herman made very short work of the Grunt's Koffing. The Kimono Girl said "That person does know what to look for in people..." after she saw me battle. The Kimono Girls are a little odd this time around... I got HM03 Surf from one of the guys in the audience, though. So that was nice...

11:24pm
I like how the sign outside Burned Tower says to stay away because it's unsafe, but there's absolutely nothing else stopping the general public just strolling in.

11:32pm
Well, I found Morty in the Burned Tower. And it looks like Eusine from Crystal is back, still tracking Suicune. But what's this ahead? A rather familiar-looking person with red hair...

11:41pm
Okay, that's three victories to me, and Silver is still banging on about how much stronger he is than me. What a nob...

Still, it looks like it'll be a bit longer before Levi is able to take on his Bayleef by himself. He managed to do some decent damage with Ice Fang, but after his health hit single digits I had to bring in Pell to finish the job. Ratigan, Tesla and Newton all beat their respective opponents (Gastly, Zubat and Magnemite) very easily, however. Actually, Ratigan's fight was good practice for the upcoming Gym...

I'm heading back to the Pokemon Centre, then I'm off to explore the rest of this tower...

11:44pm
Being able to see the Legendary Beasts down in the basement is a rather nice touch... Pretty cool music as well.

11:58pm
Well, the Beasts have scattered. Who knows when I'll see them again?

Also, what is it with the trainers in Burned Tower? Both of them just messed about lowering Herman and Cnut's accuracy when they could've KO'd them both while they (H & C) were repeatedly missing with their attacks. Idiots...

Well, that's it for today. Unless I say otherwise, just assume I'm training for the Gym battle tomorrow.

1:37am
I just caught a Magmar. I named him Celsius.

1:45pm
I just caught a Koffing. I decided to name him Choker.
