I'm just off to enter the Bug-Catching Contest. If all goes well, I won't have to enter it again until after I get the National Pokedex.

Damn, second place... Oh well. The Everstone I won should at least come in fairly handy.

I'm going to try out the Power Course in the Pokeathlon. My team for this attempt is Levi, Hammer and Murcott.

A narrow second place. And by narrow, I mean I just avoided third place. I'm not sure I like the Power Course as much as the Speed Course... Still, practice makes perfect.

A much better result this time around. Almost 100 points ahead of my previous attempt (and the guy who came in second, as it happens), bringing me to exactly 400 points. Add the 100 point bonus I got for winning, and my total goes up very quickly. The various evolutionary stones don't look so expensive now.

A major contributor to my performance was a resounding victory on the final event, Goal Roll. It's essentially four-way three-a-side football, and I won 4-0-0-0. W00t!
