Ah, okay.

I never used the different balls... mostly because I was too lazy to figure out what they did, and always saved them for a special occasion... which never came <_<

Well, I'm not cheating to get loads of Master Balls, and I didn't want to just get everything with just Poke Balls, Great Balls and Ultra Balls. Undecided

Same here, to some extent. That's why I'm keen to get Dive Balls, because I think they fit certain Water pokemon better than Net Balls.

Also, I swear Lure Balls used to be blue and red rather than green and red...

Oh, I'm not criticizing. You're actually playing the game like you're supposed to. Just that I for some reason I just never really used any of them...

It's alright, I know you weren't criticising.

*nod* Good, good...

Yay Tentacool. This'll be fun. What party have you chosen then? A strong one, or one you need to train?

A bit of both. With the exception of Levi, all the pokemon in my team will be super-effective against at least one variety of pokemon that I'll be meeting on the next two Routes. But they're also pokemon that could use some training as well.

Tuesday 18th May

3:39pm
My journey to Cianwood City begins...

3:53pm
Mm... I've always liked the female Swimmers in their bikinis... ^¬^ On the other hand, I'm also glad the male Swimmers don't wear speedos like in other games...

4:00pm
Hana has followed Gomez's example and is now a Gloom!

6:26pm
Okay, I just got the laptop back from my mum, and I decided to use one of my Sun Stones to evolve Helia into a Sunflora.

6:50pm
Well, I'm in Cianwood City, and of course my first stop is the pokemon centre.

...And it looks like the Gym Informant is hiding there. Probably to give players a feeling of foreboding about this Gym. Anyway, I'm off to explore the City...

7:05pm
I just picked up the SecretPotion at the Pharmacy.

7:07pm
There's lots of talk about the Whirl Islands and the "sea creature" that lives there...

7:11pm
A guy in the house just south of the Gym entrusted me with his Shuckle, as his other one was stolen by some other guy *coughSilvercough*. I figured it was easier than wasting time smashing boulders, looking for a pokemon I'll most likely never use.

7:19pm
*clears throat* Say, is that Suicune to the far north of the city? I think I'll go and have a look.

7:22pm
*clears throat again* Oh no, he ran away. Now I have to battle his stalker Eusine "for Suicune's respect".

7:38pm
Well, I managed to beat him. Apparently Eusine's trainer class is "Mystery Man". Okay then...

I'm now going to spend some time levelling up my pokemon for the Gym Challenge. This Gym should be one of the easier ones to level up for. For all my Psychic-types (and Hollis, as he knows Confusion), there's a handy ocean full of pokemon vulnerable to Psychic attacks. Looks like all those Tentacool are good for something after all. Of course, it'll be harder to level up Pell, but it shouldn't be too bad... I'll also be levelling up Tesla, so I have another option for taking on Chuck's Poliwrath.
