So, I just started watching Higurashi no naku koro ni

And it's good so far. I've seen 4 episodes, and I like it. Quite humorous at first, but then turned very creepy very fast. I know some of you will probably say "That's nothing, I've seen TONS of anime creepier and scarier than that" And I don't doubt it. I'm just saying that for an anime, it's pretty creepy. The fact that it's drawn in the more cute style, just gives it extra points for me.

So, the point of this topic really, is that there is none. I just wanted to say that I found an anime that I thought was good, and I'll encourage you to see it if you haven't already.

What's so creepy about it?

It's about a boy named Keiichi, who transferred to a village, and has some friends, Rena, Mion, Rika and Whats-her-name (Can't remember, the blonde one). He finds out that at every watanagashi festival, someone dies. The people of the village call it Oyashiro-sama's curse. He finds out that all the murders have had SOME connection with his group of friends.

The creepy thing I guess, is the curse, and the fact that two of his friends sometimes behave....very creepily I don't know how to explain it.

As I said, there are TONS of creepier anime out there, but it's still pretty creepy. And good.
