I've never seen the first one, but I've definitely heard of it. It seems like something I would really enjoy.
Troy Duffy is basically Quentin Tarantino resurrected if he had died. Just 100% style. You don't really watch for the plot, though it's a damn fine one.

If you can find a theater showing I definitely recommend seeing it. But I'd see if I could rent the first one just so you can catch up.

Not to rain fecal matter upon your parade-
*runs outside, alughing maniacally at the chance to drag Gaffit's hopes and aspirations through the mud and grime; runs back inside and sits at computer*
But Troy Duffy is a grade-A ****, as documented in this film:
That said, the first one was alright. Like and Irish John Woo movie.

Everyone and their mum's knows Troy Duffy is the world's biggest twat, doesn't keep him from writing a stylish Irish Vigilante flick.

*snuggles up next to John Woo in king-sized bed with satin covers; lets him whisper kind, sweet nothings in my ear while I think of Gaffit's abusive relationship with Duffy*

I wasn't a big fan of the first one... Willem Dafoe was and always will be the man though.

Floyd is the devil.
I SERIOUSLY DREAMT OF FLOYD BEING A KILLER CYBORG WHO RAN 10 TIMES FASTER THAN ANY NORMAL HUMAN, AND THEN KILLED MM, TURNED FEMALE, WENT AFTER ME, AND I DROPPED FROM THE SKYSCRAPER! IT HURTED, BUT I AWAKE CALMLY, THINKING I WOULDN'T SEE YOU AGAIN.

Or woman, depending on where you end up on the Scene Select menu.

Heh, reminds me of the time me and my dad bought Nacho Libre for my brother while he was having a party. We also bought a random Luche Libre DVD and swapped the disks without telling him. My brother and his friends were watching this: For half an hour, thinking it was just some really weird opening to the real movie.
