Yeah I've decided I'm fine with it. I'm through 5 episodes now. Not flying through it because the 48 minute run time is kind of awkward. But then I guess that's the equivalent of 10 episodes of a show with a standard run time.

I remember I took like a year to finish it. Not sure why, but maybe because it was a very dialogue-heavy show. In retrospect I'm kind of glad I watched it that slowly.

I can only assume they're making a Cowboy Bebop live action series because of the sick and twisted demands of The Orb.

Episode 7 was pretty cool. Kinda don't see how they top that.

I watched Blame! last night. I understand it doesn't have a ton in common with its source material, but as a sci-fi anime Mad Max Fury Road deal, it worked pretty well. The beam weapons were cool, if nothing else.

It's actually a fairly good adaptation. It doesn't have the extremely expanded, long-form story of the original, but the vignette presented is an excellent snapshot of the general aesthetics and characters.

Having the original author to write for it helped.

Finished with Katanagatari.

I'm not really sure how to feel about how the story wrapped up. It's kinda confusing. The action in the final episode was pretty good, though.

so the re:creators soundtrack is finally out and I looked to see about buying it, and I guess Japan doesn't believe in downloading MP3s? All I can find is the physical two-disc thing that's $30+, soooo

gomen sawano-san

edit: (the show itself is still ok but kind of terribly paced)

like there are so many times you just wanna shout "WE GET IT" while watching this show

every reveal is endlessly foreshadowed or retconned in via flashbacks, and then it's belabored after the fact with even more flashbacks

done

a) I agree with what Reiner said in the last episode.

b) Why can't this show just be about Erwin?

Floyd is the devil.
I SERIOUSLY DREAMT OF FLOYD BEING A KILLER CYBORG WHO RAN 10 TIMES FASTER THAN ANY NORMAL HUMAN, AND THEN KILLED MM, TURNED FEMALE, WENT AFTER ME, AND I DROPPED FROM THE SKYSCRAPER! IT HURTED, BUT I AWAKE CALMLY, THINKING I WOULDN'T SEE YOU AGAIN.
