Trying hard to look _________.

That was the best episode so far. Huge sniper rifles for the win.

I find it interesting that the same Tree of Life that's on Ed's Gateway flashes through the opening credits.

Ohoho
I'm hoping this is an indication that that will be relevant rather than completely irrelevant.

Seriously though, I have no idea. I haven't watched or read anything about NGE so I don't even know who Ed is or how that could possibly affect the story.

Evangelion uses religous symbols and german alot for no reason than to look all deep.... Some will look a Gaint Naked Rei and think it's deep and meaning full.... But really there's nothing to anything and it just there to screw with your mind.... You know how TTGL runs on Rule of Cool? Eva runs on Rule of Mind Screw.... I mean this is the best way to describe EoE.... "It involves a giant robot being transformed into the tree of life by a set of nine other giant robots and a huge tuning fork, then getting plunged into the ****-forehead of a giant alien who has taken on the form of the male lead's mother's clone. This is to save the world. Probably. And then, everyone gets a hug and turns into glowy Tang, there's some conversation about human nature, the giant alien falls apart and spurts a giant stream of blood onto the moon, and lastly, "Kimochi warui"." And that's just crazy....

Hey now, there is certainly something to plenty in Evangelion, just not the religious stuff.

I'm a religious iconography/symbolism **** so yeah. Even if it has no meaning at all I still love it (Metropolis for example).

Floyd is the devil.
I SERIOUSLY DREAMT OF FLOYD BEING A KILLER CYBORG WHO RAN 10 TIMES FASTER THAN ANY NORMAL HUMAN, AND THEN KILLED MM, TURNED FEMALE, WENT AFTER ME, AND I DROPPED FROM THE SKYSCRAPER! IT HURTED, BUT I AWAKE CALMLY, THINKING I WOULDN'T SEE YOU AGAIN.

Yeah.... Pretty much everything is there for you plot wise and you don't need too much research.... If you do need to do research on something it won't be to do with the plot and will just be a genius bonus.... Which is good because I don't wanna have to go research some religous stuff just to know what's going on....

And of course then there's the stuff that doesn't make sense at all....

Watched another four episodes at a friend's house.
Asuka is a huge ****, yet it really adds to the show. The dancing episode was good.
