I've been out of the CoS loop for a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time, but I really think that either the TIA charactere would have to be toned up, or the CoS characters would have to be toned down. I know it wouldn't be a Vs thing, but it still seems pretty one-sided to me...

It'd probably work if you accepted that the characters from TIA hired the ones from CoS as mercenaries of some sort because they really needed the extra firepower (and CoS has a LOT of that).

Hm... Well, however it happens, I really don't think I'd take part. I haven't fleshed out my characters' abilities enough to be able to keep up with CoS characters. Hell, I can barely keep up with the TIA fights right now...
In any case, I'd really only be on board if this took place outside the TIA "canon", if you will. Still, I'm only one vote, so it's up to other people.

Well, we were thinking of toning up the TIA and toning Down the CoS. Meet each other half way. Plus, its not suppose to be really(as far as i'm concerned) competitive so the difference wouldn't really be noticeable.
And for those wondering. No, i will not be participating.

And I imagine this'd not be "canon" as such.

I could only use my strong characters.
So like.... two of them. Though I'll probably end up handicapping them anyway.

>v> Trust me, ILS, you don't want to handicap them.
As for mine... Hawk and Quill on the side of the CoS and Phoenix and Greg on the side of the TIA. Whew..

I intend to use my character Rief only, whose essentially a normal human with a ton of weaponry. He's been involved in TIA in the past so I think he should be on level with most TIA characters.
Anyone else have any ideas on how to run this? IE Storyline ideas, types of play styles, ect.

Branched tree was always good. I'll explain it later, though, I have programming to d.

What do you mean by branched storylines? You mean where characters can take multiple paths, or where the plot is always changing?

I probably will anyway, it's not something I do on purpose. I just do it as a second nature, I hate roleplaying really powerful characters... makes me feel like I'm being cheap or cheating.
And I don't know how to run it...

4: Horrific mutations! (Plants dead. Random chance of each player becoming symbiote with plants, A La Quill. Non symbiotes vs Symbiotes.) Win: Goto 6 Lose: Goto 5.
5: Final defence: (Plants taking over, plants and 75% of players symbiotes. Last players have to survive.) Win? 6. Lose: DEFEAT!
6: Final attack! 75% non-sym players versus symbies and Big Bad. Win? VICTORY! Lose: DEFEAT!
