Hawk's Final Event topic.

Nara: I'm sure they'll do some damage. It's just bugs, it seems. *Stands back to let Mecha And Nestor get rid of the bugs*

The sounds increase and soon they are swarming around the corner, en masse. There is a klaxon as the lab millions more are swarming from locks down, blast door slamming shut with a sound like someone jumping on a crisp packet.

Mecha: [immediately opens fire on the beetles]

(Gar? ILS?)

Nestor: *also fires on the beetles*

Nara: *Hangs back, letting the others work*

Their shots do a decent amount of damage, but there are a lot of bugs, and each one they hit explodes in an acid glob. Soon, the corridor is pockmarked, though the amount of them is certainly less.

There is a green flash from the sealed lab.

Nara: Hm?

[Gargravarr]

Nestor: *looks up at the green flash* Huh?

The automated PA can just be heard above the sound of dying beetles. "Lab X-13: Decontaminated."

Nestor: ...Why do I get the feeling that's not good?

Nara: Hmm... It seems some lab has been ridden of contamination.

Mecha: [finshes off whatever beetles still remain]

The corridor is now empty of living beetles, though walking on them looks like it'll be messy. THe lab doors slide open, with nothing inside.

Down in Medical, Greg is lifting himself into a wheelchair, and refusing all help.

Nestor: *looks inside the lab* ...Well that was anticlimactic.
