I also played Tekken 7 at Dave & Busters. It was a tragedy for me. Those Korean players are unfair. you also have to pay to get a Bananapass or whatever the **** its called just so you can save your stats and **** from the cabinet. Shaheen is an **** and JACK was OP. He ultimately got mowed down with nerfs but yeah. the game itself is solid, but the pandering to eastern audience can be a bit unsettling at times and it feels like they're COMPLETELY abandoning the West with some of their design choices. Steve is good but no one uses him. Claudio is like #2 on the usage charts but he's a lame-o Lars looks like a dying cactus in the face Kazumi is stupid as **** Katarina is eh and she has these weird chicken legs when she isn't wearing pants Gigas is so bad lol every character beats him clean Lucky Chloe is surprisingly fun but still she's Chloe. She's got customizations that make her helluva less annoying Asuka is still bland Paul is still ridiculous damage wise and still difficult to fight against Law got nerfed to hell and back when they stopped his down, back+3 from jailing Leo is a lot better and so is Lili slightly Dragunov I didn't reeally pay too much attention to King is so, so, so, so, so, so, SO cheap in this one. He can spin into lariat, but it has such low recovery that he can grab right after for 100% assurance. If you chicken guard and duck the lariat, he can do the Shining Wizard right after and it has such priority that you'd think that they took Bob's characteristics and blessed King with his cheapness. It's as cheap as it sounds. There's NO way out if he does it and you're looking at 60% life gone if he connects his chain grab and you don't break it. Hwoarang is still virtually useless I like Jin a lot more in this one. They completely screwed him while giving Kazuya all the glory. I have no idea why they nerfed Heihachi so hard. He does nowhere near the amount of damage he used to do. |
