It's fun...among other things...lol

But yeah, as of October 20th, 2016, I'm completely demoralized. My Jester got killed in combat due to failing a resolve test and becoming irrational (character operates on their own) and them not healing themselves during Death's Door (if you take any more damage after hitting 0HP, you die).

My Jester was the star unit for keeping the squad buffed and sane, and now that she's gone there is an obvious void in the ranks and everything is beginning to go downhill. Battles are getting tougher, I have no money, people are freaking out, my good units are constantly hospitalized/praying, and I'm in a world of hurt. Not to mention that some quests have unavoidable traps that increase your stress levels for no damn reason other than to be annoying and unfair. Enemies will constantly debuff you with blight, bleeding, poison and you will get "surprised" in battle which completely shuffles your formation and ruin your tactics.

I would just send a bunch of fodder out to do a few missions so the time will pass quicker but it is virtually impossible to clear some of the missions I have now with these non-upgraded grunts. You can't send your good units on lower level missions to gather resources either because the game won't allow it. Coupled with horrible RNG mechanics akin to the sadistic nature of XCOM and you have a game that will quickly get abandoned by the easily flustered.

I'm going to start over completely, I think. And if things go poorly again, I may just watch someone else torture themselves.

My party goes a bit like this:

Knight - Hospitalized.
Leper - Hospitalized.
Highwayman - 90% Stress.
Vestal - 100% Stress.
Jester - Dead.
Antiquarian - Dead.
Bounty Hunter - 40% Stress, but he sucks ass anyway.
Abomination - 20% Stress and his main function, (transforming into Beast), stresses everyone out anyway.
Arbalest - 100% Stress.
Plague Doctor - In the Tavern for the 2nd week in a row drinking beer.
Hellion - Ready for combat, but is a level 1 grunt.
Grave Robber - My only unit that is adequately leveled and ready, but isn't much help without the Highwayman on the team.

So yeah.

I was exclusively playing only him like a month ago and got an assload of time with him in solo queue. And then Sombra came out and I switched back to playing Lucio and Roadhog. Zen's limited mobility just broke me and I kinda got sick of getting pounced on by the smart Tracer player and the braindead Sombra.

Yeah a good Tracer is still the single biggest threat to most teams, I find, especially when people don't want to protect their healers. Sombra hasn't been as bad as she could be, although people are getting better with her. I still play Zen, but I'm usually most comfortable when I know there's a reliable tank in my vicinity.

Roadhog is in a pretty good place right now, so it's always nice to have him around. He's super fun to follow around as a Zen player, too.

I honestly don't know what I'd do without Roadhog. Winston is struggling and I am not a good Rein anymore so my tank options are limited considering I despise D. Va with a passion.

I would play a DPS (Jesus, 76 is insane) but I'd rather someone else take up that mantle because they'd probably do a better job. So that leaves me with Hog and Lucio really.

But...I've been finding some success in Hanzo....despite the protests of toxic teammates...

They might not complain so much if you used a better skin.

You only can get booped down tiers once you hit Master I think. And you only go back to diamond, not the other subsequent tiers.
One thing I will say though, Roadhog running rampant is a byproduct of Reaper's disappearance. Triple tanks ruin Reaper when he kept big boy in check. Also, with D.Va being GODLY it's hard to get anything done in D.Vawatch

Yeah you can't drop from Diamond, but if you go a week without playing comp then your rating can drop.

And I'm still basically Zarya and Zenyatta, although I'm experimenting with Roadhog and trying to keep my Reinhardt relevant. I also mess around with Ana but wouldn't play her in comp yet. I can go Soldier if needed, but my DPS pool is sort of week otherwise. Haven't gotten much chance to pick up Sombra like I wanted to.

That's a good point about Reaper, though. D.Va didn't need that 100 armor gift they gave her. They should have given it to Winston instead.
