I found one of these; about 35 (or so)x7 damage per shot. I won't be replacing it with anything until I find another one of its type. I don't have any mods or skills that tweak it's stats (since I'm using a soldier build), but it still downs shields in a single hit.

I hear they can have base damages up to about 350 (multiplied by 7... is a whole lot of damage).
