So I found some "alien" weapon that a mute Mordecai named Phobiamon dropped. He also dropped an insane amount of items on teh ground and let us fight for it.
I didn't get the launcher that rapid-fires corrisive missiles, but w/e. I tried to stay away from any modders. I did happen across another masher though... 75x9 damage.

So I took down Bone Head earlier today, and it was epic. Because he was still being a douche and I couldn't use any vehicles, I did the other missions and came back to that one by the time I was level 10, had a 130 shield, and a pistol which was actually decent and did 25 damage a hit. Then I came back, took ou his helpers, and literally spent around 2 minutes circling the area, trying to kill off Bone Head before he killed me (I'm not even kidding).
I'm at Sledge's Safehouse, and this place is ridiculous. Compared to the guys I was facing on the way there, half these guys can down my shield in like three hits. I honestly don't even know if I can do this solo, and those badass hunters are cheap.

*appears above from atop cliff, silhouetted by the sun; arms Boom Stick, leaps form cliff and begins firing at enemies around SA2, obliteraping them with buckshot (missiles?)*
I'll assist you; just give me your Gamertag, and I'll-

Sadly I still won't be able to go online for a little while, I'll most likely just grind a bit before coming back to it.

Try doing all of the quests around. Especially the one with the logs for the scientist lady. And the Arena one.
Also, Spring, that voice chat was kinda crappy, wasn't it? I could barely hear you some times.

Indeed it was. For some reason, the mic-sound quality while I'm playing this online is inconsistent. I couldn't hear people unless I accepted their friend requests for some reason...
And play online with people at least once to get their claptrap quests. Just join up with them and exit, then you can just make them your active quest, go straight to where their toolbox is, fix them and get more backpack space. You'll need it when there's a rush for awesome weapons/items.

Meh, I just take the quests as they come. I can always use more spaces, but I never really need more than I have, because the enemy drops aren't quite the frequent.
Also, Volcano snipers are totally pwnage, and Shock weapons own Eridians.

I don't use any of those. All the elemental weapons I find have some shitty aspect that make me not want to use them. I'm just using a corrosive assault rifle to see if it work better for me, but the fact that they never seem to have more than 70% accuracy is annoying.
I now have a revolver that does 650 damage a shot and one-shots anything with a critical, so I'll probably just fall back on that. Once I find another corrsive artifact, I'll switch my turret back to that element instead of lv. 3 Fire/Shock and let that be that. I need to actually test out if much higher damage trumps really low damage but elemental capabilities.
I think I'll stick with elemental close range weapons, but use regular, purely powerful long range ones since it seems elemental weapons have bs accuracy...

I do not like using them. I'll try them out, but I still see myself using weapons that are augmented by sodlier class mods/skills. I have a shotgun that does 1000 damage per shot at close range and has reasonably tight spread. I just have fallen into a groove that works and it'll take a lot of experimenting to change how I'm doing things.
Rocket launchers do suck though. I had a x4 shock launcher and it wasn't killing anything. It had no splash damage and probably only was good if you hit directly with the missile. I may as well throw grenades.

I HATE launchers. I have this Exploding Liquid Sniper or something like that and this Shock Shotgun.
So basically, ANY gun from Maliwan is an elemental?

I have a x3 shock sniper now and when it shocks, it dominates, but when it doesn't, it still takes 2-3 shots to kill armored enemies whereas my Liquid sniper takes 1, sometimes two when I get a critical.
