*shrugs* You really have to gauge 3D on the DS on its own scale rather than comparing it to other consoles. Except maybe the N64 or Playstation.

But, IMHO, Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks are more like 2.5D, like New Super Mario Bros, rather than full 3D. For the most part, anyway. The majority of the actual gameplay is far more similar to that of previous handheld/2D Zeldas than the console games, unlike, say, Metroid Prime Hunters or Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days.

Then you must HATE OoT. Or MM. Or any other game on the N64, ever. And the Playstation. And the Dreamcast.

N64 games in general are acceptable but still pretty ugly looking, almost all Playstation games that were in 3D were horrendous looking, I've never actually played a Dreamcast but I thought it looked fine. But it is possible for games to make up for looking like crap in other ways, but PH didn't manage to do that.

I always thought SSB was ugly, even when it first came out.

Well yeah, but I feel like that game makes up for it by the fact that I'm still playing it a decade later.

The majority of my friends are idiots and don't acknowledge either of the latter games as existing. >_>

This topic reminds me that I haven't played a Zelda game in a good while. Since I played TP like a year ago, I really need to find that piece oh **** Nunchuk.
