I've only watched the first two episodes

And since I've watched the first season and the first two OVAs, DtB has already established its goodness in my brain. Anything after this point won't change my core feelings toward it.

You have a strong mind sir. I feel compelled to rewatch the first to wash my mind of the second.

If I were a contractor, my remuneration would be checking every damn updated topic

And I saw Hei vs. August 7. It was pretty cool, but it felt different than the other fights. Hei's moves didn't seem as practical, which may have something to do with his new angsty self.

Hei is watching Suou belly dance.

I have to admit that summoning a sniper rifle is badass though

I have to say, this season isn't as bad as I was expecting. It's not cool, like the first, of course. But it has the "on the run" feel to it, and I'm fine with that. It (probably) makes sense that Hei's an **** because of whatever happened with Yin.

The music, Norio, Norio's pedophilia and the transformation sequence (the only holding back that power from being my favorite) suck though and are as bad as people make them out to be.

Norio and his crossdresser dad make the worst subplot ever

You know a character is hopelessly dopey when I (someone who feels bad for stepping on ants) laughs while they cry over seeing their mother murdered.

The only good thing that came out of that subplot was seeing Hei pretty much own their mom without his powers before, even though he couldn't really finish the job.

Basically. Like, it would've been fine if Norio was the same age as Suou (since the show has had surprisingly coincidental connections between newly introduced characters before [e.g. Kirihara and her friend/Wei]) and his dad wasn't a damn crossdresser. And if they weren't both over the top dufii (dufuses). The scene where His mom was killed by Yin's observer spirit was genuinely tragic though. It's just, right after that, it got stupid...

Awww, cute :3

Finished the second season. It was different, but nowhere near as different as what I previously gathered. I don't rate anime by numbers, but if I gave the first season an 8.5 or 9, this would get a 7 or 7.5.

So Shion made a copy of the world where everyone is happy?

But the real hero is Burger-kun.
