Okay, so I try to watch a movie on the Xbox, and the stupid menu keeps popping up on the bottom. I press B and it gets rid of it for like a minute, and it pops up. How the heck do you get rid of it for the whole time I am watching a damn movie?

Floyd is the devil.
I SERIOUSLY DREAMT OF FLOYD BEING A KILLER CYBORG WHO RAN 10 TIMES FASTER THAN ANY NORMAL HUMAN, AND THEN KILLED MM, TURNED FEMALE, WENT AFTER ME, AND I DROPPED FROM THE SKYSCRAPER! IT HURTED, BUT I AWAKE CALMLY, THINKING I WOULDN'T SEE YOU AGAIN.

this. maybe take the batteries out of your controller? It's a wired controller. It's weird. That stupid menu that you see when you hit the B button comes up constantly and I can't get rid of it.

I'd unplug the controller.
Does it keep happening after you turn the system off and on again? It could be that "the controller default is what's pressed when you turn the system on" thing.

Only Nintendo systems had that problem. That menu comes up whenever anything on the controller is touched, including the thumbsticks. One of them probably isn't calibrated properly.

I didn't know that.
And I'm guessing the controller is old anyway since it's wired; all the controllers that come with systems sold within at least the last year have been wireless.

It's a Gamestop Brand Controller. That may be why. But still, it does it sometimes, and other times it doesn't.
