He stopped being funny (and making good movies) a while ago. Perhaps the last thing that he was in that I liked was Shanghai Knights. And that was a while ago.

Jacke Chan is the man. A few abominable movies will not stop him.
This. Seriously. Some of the literally death-defying stunts he has willingly done in his life cement his status as the man.

His career may be over, but nothing he ever does will ruin the awesome that is Jackie Chan.
I mean, when you watch other action heroes hang from an airplane high up in the air, you know they're wearing tons upon tons of safety gear, or that it's a stuntman who's wearing said gear.
When you see Jackie Chan hang from an airplane high up in the air, you know that he's only one **** up away from falling to his imminent death. That takes massive balls.
Plus, what other actor has ever dislocated his/her pelvis, broken fingers, toes, nose, both cheekbones, hips, sternum, neck, ankles and ribs (wikipedia FTW), and STILL refuses to get a stuntman?

*sees topic title* Indeed. The last movie that I remember that was good with him in it was The Tuxedo.

Rush Hour 3 wasn't bad.

i like how this topic completely forgot about the medallion and the tuxedo. both were horrific movies, but he still kept going.
no matter your opinion on the quality of his movies, everyone can (and will!) agree that his fight scene with jet li in forbidden kingdom was the most epic thing. ever. **** the wires, its still a bad ass fight.

Rush Hour 3 wasn't bad. True. That movie wasn't too bad.

^And this. Finding out he did all his own stunts and the injury's he got from them made me have even more respect for the guy.
