I started watching GaoGaiGar... But I just don't really like it very much. Cool mech, but the show just seems silly. Which seems even sillier to say when my top four consist of Gurren-Lagann, it's movies, and FLCL.
First half is crap, the rest is AAAmazing. And how dare you still think YYH as "boring."

I always suggest Black Lagoon to anyone. I don't know for sure if you'd like it, but you do have some of my favorite anime in your top 20.

Fair enough. Though I can assert that he has some bad anime above it as well.
And This Ugly yet Beautiful World is not lol. That show is cry. In the bad, I cry because this show is so awful way. I have really wanted to watch it for the lulz and because I loved one of the promotional posters of it, but one can guess at a single glance that this show is **** and I don't want to waste time on it if I can't even get through Happiness!. |

I don't remember saying Yu Yu Hakusho (which I assume is what YYH is here) was boring... And I know I didn't say that in this topic. I'll probably watch it one of these days.
And I think I'd like Black Lagoon. I expected you to bring that up. Once upon a time, G4 aired that and I saw like two random episodes, and it seemed pretty good.
And Ahriman, is there any way I could just completely skip to the good part of GGG without missing anything that matters? I know it's episodic, but are there any important earlier episodes I'd need to watch to get the rest?

You could probably watch the first 6 episodes and then skip to episode 21 without missing anything besides Volfogg's introduction and a self-contained subplot that doesn't really matter in the long run. It still doesn't really get awesome until around 30, but at that point it's at least tolerable and important plot-wise. |

And I remember skipping up to like episode 40 of GaoGaiGar just to see if it got better, and while I really didn't get what was going on and didn't watch very much at all, it at least seemed to have a plot at that point.

I don't care about GaoGaiGar, but if you're watching Durarara!! then that's fine with me. Top 10 contender for me with the way it's going so far. Maybe even...top...5...That's a bit hasty, but I don't care. Also, it's only 7 episodes in. It's still airing. |
