2 was better and both of you are retards.
I recently started up Crystal and used Croconaw, and I was amazed by just how much it sucked. High attack, low/mid special attack, yet low skill emphasis on attack and no plausible chance of STAB.

If you liked the second game, you'll like the third one alot. I recommend it if you find yourself bored on a day off on Monday or something.
