Now I gotta read the manga because it tells the story of what happened before Otonashi showed up from the point of Hinata....

I think the manga only has 2 chapters so far, so I'm not gonna bother. So does this basically make Otonashi a decoy protagonist, since the manga has Hinata as the main character, and Hinata tends to act like a normal protagonist on the show?

[Esh]

Yeah he is pretty main character-ish.... I actually had a moment where I forgot Otonashi was the main protagonist....

He's even helping Otonashi with his getting people to more on.... And he's better at it than him....

But he has had protagonist role in the light novel already.... Still maybe Otonashi is The Ishmael of sorts....

Also.... So is Angel just a normal girl who died and hasn't been able to move on? I keep thinking that she may just be the most broken cutie of them all....

I think Angel/Kanade just has no emotion from losing so many people after they became friends with her. She's just a good example of Poor Communication Kills.

Yeah it's a good thing that nobody can die then....

So who do think will go next?

I'd be surprised if it were TK, but then since he's easily the most popular character that would be bad for business. I'm wondering if we'll ever find out why he acts that way, but maybe it's better not to know about his past.

I think Yurippe will be pretty pissed though after finding out Otonashi and Kanade are going around trying to get rid of all her comrades, so she might end up being the bad guy in the end.

Yeah I've been thinking that....

Also they don't have very many episodes left.... And there's alot of characters....

At this rate a second season is almost guaranteed. It would be more satisfying if Yuri turns out to be the bad guy IMO.

Well she does want to punch god in the face....

Also not so much in the anime but in the Manga she reminds me of Haruhi.... Wait a minute.... Haruhi is god and Yuri looks sorta like a Haruhi wanna be.... She wants to fight Haruhi and take her place....

Still at any rate I hope that we'll end with a Did You Just Punch Out Cthulhu from her....

Yuri gets pissed after finding out her former enemy is going around getting rid of her team, so she teams up with the shadow, absorbs its powers along with everyone else and turns into a demonic monstrosity, gaining enough power to brake free from purgatory and finally coming face-to-face with God, ready to open up a can of whoopass. Cue the ending.

I finally got round to watching Evangelion all the way through for once....

Now I gotta go watch the films....

I never bothered with Evangelion, because I'd most likely find it pretty boring. I just know what happens at the end, is all.

Yeah I didn't enjoy it so much.... I forced myself to watch it.... Seeing as I've dropped it twice before....

I rarely ever drop an anime. I only one I did drop was Girls High, I think its name was, because it was basically panties and no decent humor. Then again I was quite rash at the time, as it was only the first episode, and I at least gave Angel Beats a chance...

Four episodes is the most I'll give a series I'm not enjoying....

Episode one would have to be really bad to get me to drop it.... If it's boring then I'll give it a chance to get better....

I'm not looking forward to the movies but I guess I need to finish what I started.... Though Evangelion was good at times.... I found the end sorta funny.... But yeah EoE sound like it's a downer ending version of what ever was going on in those last two episodes....

I remember that I dropped Lucky Star before I started watching anime.... But I picked it up later after a year of watching anime.... It wasn't so bad....
