Ok I checked out Nyarlko.... And no.... Just no....
But anyway moving on....
Onii-chan no Koto blah blah blah.... I'm sick of incest right now.... So I couldn't really enjoy it....
In the end I tried watching those two Deen shows and Level E....
Kore wa Zombie desu ka.... Was.... Actually not bad.... You could even say it was.... Entertaining.... The whole zombie thing doesn't seem to be anything more than an excuse for the MC to take alot of punishment.... Because it seems he is actually a magical girl.... Er magical guy? And as far as male MCs go he's pretty likable.... I guess I'll be watching the rest of this....
And then there was Dragon Crysis.... Which was also not bad.... They got teh Rie to voice Rose.... Probably because she has experience saying Ryuji.... And she says it alot.... And she's no tsun just dere.... She just kinda hugs Ryuji and says his name over and over.... And it's very moe.... But that's not all of the show.... The first half Ryuji and his hot cousin steal Rose and there guns and cars and Rose blast fire at them.... Yeah dragons in this are just lolis.... Could be decent....
And Level E is enjoyable too.... Guy finds a guy who says he's an alien and trys to crash at his place.... Pretty funny.... Could be good....
To be honest these shows were better than some of the stuff I watched this season.... And they were the ones I was expecting to be ****.... I'm hoping one of these turns out like Milky Holmes did....
So Mitsudomoe is show of the season.... The rest sit somewhere in the middle.... Except Freezing it's lower down.... And Onii-chan thing and Nyarlko sit right at the bottom....
This season turned out to be not that bad.... Maybe because I was expecting it to be complete ****.... But the shows are kinda okay and some have potential.... I still have Fractale and Wandering Son to go.... I think I'll be okay for the next three months....

throw out a more in-depth thought on yumekui merry, I am completely on the fence on if it looks worth checking out
even the opening left me fairly uncertain after fanservice and moe **** started trickling in half way through

Yumekui Merry was alright.... I don't remember much of it because I watch alot more stuff since then and it didn't realy stick.... The plot is somwthing like this.... Our MC somehow can see auras that represent peoples dreams they have.... He also has nightmares of cats trying to capture him.... One day Merry sits on his face and then he has a daydream or something.... Turns out his dream is another dimension and the leader of the cats is some cloaked masked guy named John Doe who wants to enter the real world by taking MCs body.... Merry is some girl who doesn't remember much and wants to go back somewhere.... She somehow enters the dream world when John is trying to get MCs body and saves him.... It was alright.... Kinda don't know what's going on or how the show is gonna go from here.... There's nothing about it that sticks out.... But there's nothing that's bad.... Just kinda okay.... I'll keep watching it.... Kore wa Zombie desu ka I would say is better.... It's not serious at all.... I mean the guy is a zombie but he still looks human.... He just can't die and drys up in the sun real fast.... He ends up meeting a magical girl who fights with a chainsaw and he accidentlly takes her powers and becomes a zombie cross dressing magical girl boy with a pink chainsaw.... The next episode has a Vampire Ninja.... It's basically this trope.... It's stupid but entertaining.... The show is better than I thought it would be.... I'm gonna stick with this for sure.... |
