Ionizing the air would not only be a horrible way to cool your home, as it involves very high power current, you'd suffocate on all the ozone.
Oh and on another note, these damn things aren't bladeless. The blades just aren't visible.

I wasn't trying to prove they work without a blade.... I'm aware that there are blades.... Which you should have realised when I gave you a link to how it works.... But they are called bladeless fans anyway so it can't be helped.... If you set out to make me facepalm then mission accomplished....
Anyway.... They work like any other fan at the end of the day.... It just looks cool....
Also it's not how they work which gets me.... It's how these things a so distracting that every conversation I've been a part of about Kore wa Zombie Desu ka keeps turning into a discussion about the damn fan....

Well ****.... Mami is dead already.... I mean I kinda guessed that her mentor role would get her killed.... But that was quite quick.... I mean her head was just bitten off.... But there's talk of Madoka using her wish to bring her back to life.... Not sure if that's possible... But also there's many other theories.... It is one of those shows where people look for foreshadowing everywhere.... They have that clock theory where the colours of the number match the characters hair.... 3 was yellow.... But that's just crazy.... And Kyubey is probably evil according to the runes in the backgrounds....
