It's an interesting documentary made using interviews from many people over many of the decisions George Lucas has made with the Star Wars franchise over the last three decades. The basic principle is whether or not George Lucas has a say in his own universe anymore, a discussion which I found pretty fascinating. I've seen the movies, played the games, and have sat in on a couple d20 Star Wars games. The only medium of Star Wars I haven't explored are the books.
And the documentary really asks whether or not George Lucas still runs the show or if it now belongs to the fans. He did invent it, true, but there are many authors who have written far more on the subject than he ever will, and some of his decisions in the recent decade almost seem to want to sabotage the franchise.
It's a bit nerdy, but I found the debate fascinating. Personally, I'd have to side with the fans here, just because the masses know what the masses like, but at the same time, who would be in charge of deciding what's canon and what's not?

That is an interesting prospect. This requires further investigation.
