I was honestly surprised and enjoyed it, I'm hoping they show an open-ended level though. Pretty much everything from Blood Money is there, just fine-tuned and better looking with more cinematics and linearity. My hope/belief is that it's the opening/training level, which would make a lot of sense considering the events of the last game and that most of the other stages will be your traditional assassination levels. My only real complaint is that "precognition" thing to see where people are going, which I think may be exclusive to rookie or normal difficulties and even then it's probably going to be optional to use it anyway so I could easily just not use it.

Blood Money's opening and end levels were both linear after all too.

What did you think about the backlash this game is receiving from this trailer? Is it fair to write this off as dumbing down the series?

I don't believe it's proof that the series is going downhill, people just like to complain as always.

*altered beast*

Played anything interesting lately that you hadn't before (new release or an older game you never played, either one)?

Floyd is the devil.
I SERIOUSLY DREAMT OF FLOYD BEING A KILLER CYBORG WHO RAN 10 TIMES FASTER THAN ANY NORMAL HUMAN, AND THEN KILLED MM, TURNED FEMALE, WENT AFTER ME, AND I DROPPED FROM THE SKYSCRAPER! IT HURTED, BUT I AWAKE CALMLY, THINKING I WOULDN'T SEE YOU AGAIN.

I've been playing Assassin's Creed II and Crackdown after they were made free on Xbox Gold lately, I ended up remembering why Crackdown hasn't aged well since it gets pretty boring after a while.

Kicking cars across bridges is only fun for so long.

It's hilarious as hell with friends, especially when you had experience in mugen and know how strong some of the characters are. Like this one guy who bet on Alucard against Godzilla, but you almost never bet against the giant characters since most character AI isn't designed to strike at specific hitboxes.

?
That game is so **** awesome, absolutely cannot wait for Legends. If I could run the game on Steam, I'd try to multiplayer with some peeps.

Wario was briefly considered as the Mario clone, with low speed and high attack power, but Sakurai felt that Wario deserved better.

If this is true, how would you feel if this had happened?

On one hand, I really wished they had based Wario's move-set more around his Wario Land and Wario World ventures, rather than a completely random move-set that's supposedly based around Warioware.

But the wacky Warioware thing would've been better than being a clone, so I do at least appreciate that. I'm hoping Wario gets a spinning piledriver next time.
