What makes it worse is that most politicians are old themselves, so there would be incredible bias towards a bill dedicated to checking a person of fifty or more years of age's reaction time and eye sight when renewing their driver's license. Pfft.

I really think that most of the old people in the government are probably incompetent and there should be some sort of age cap on service...since there is an age floor, it only makes sense, right? For that matter, lower the age floor.

Not all elderly are this bad at driving like this. My grandmother is pushing 65 and still rides her motorcycle. But yes, some sort of driving test should be taken every year or so after a certain age, probably 60.

I'm thinking more like over the age of 70 as old...I wouldn't consider 65 old...
...my grandmother is 83...THAT'S old...
