I'd rather wait at least six months to judge if buying one would be worth the time and money, such as the quality of games and the system. I do that every time something new is released. Hell, the only reason I got a DS Lite to play over my Phat was to use my Slot-2 ram expansion for my flashcart.

This isn't really the same as the DS Lite/Phat, though. This is a genuinely new DS, rather than just a minor upgrade over the previous model.

Floyd is the devil.
I SERIOUSLY DREAMT OF FLOYD BEING A KILLER CYBORG WHO RAN 10 TIMES FASTER THAN ANY NORMAL HUMAN, AND THEN KILLED MM, TURNED FEMALE, WENT AFTER ME, AND I DROPPED FROM THE SKYSCRAPER! IT HURTED, BUT I AWAKE CALMLY, THINKING I WOULDN'T SEE YOU AGAIN.

I know, that's why I said I'd wait to see if the games will be worth the time or if the game flow would wear off and devolve into another shovelwarefest.

So does the Wii. I think that's what he's worried about.

Suddenly it makes sense for Nintendo to have a release date for the announcement of the release date. Imagine this many rumors for several months.

Japan is the only place that matters, Japan is the only place where we get sales, Japan is above everything else, because we're nationalistic assholes like that.

Anticipation gives them more sales, and whether you buy it or not wont change based on whether they announce a release date now.

So the 3DS will be released on the 26th of February in Japan, and about a month later in the west. Just a few days AFTER my birthday. FUUUUUUUUUUU
It'll be priced at 25.000 yen, which is equivalent to 298 dollars, or 189 pounds. Or 1635 danish kroner, but that's not as important.
That is NOT the offical price. That's merely the euivalent of the japanese price, it may be more expensive or cheaper.
If that's the final price, then that's... pretty expensive for american and british people. The price in danish kroner is very nice though, not that expensive.
