More or less agreed, despite his unfortunate last name.

He kinda did nothing but potentially provide Republicans a spicier flavor for their retorts. I'm under the opinion that both parties intentionally stall for time against bills belonging to the opposite site, and an impassioned bitching from one side won't stop the other. Then again, his speech would help bring attention to turncoat Democrats who stall on left-wing bills, which is somewhat helpful for his side. On a less serious note, I find it funny how anyone who supports him were also meek on applauding him.

"Um... can I stall for time on clapping?"

More or less agreed, despite his unfortunate last name.

In German, his last name would be phonetically closer to the pronunciation of "whiner," so it's almost a shame that there were no bilingual Republicans around to exploit that.

There needs to be more Dems in general who call the real Republicans out on how uncaring, self-centered, and exploitative they are of the american public.  They prey on peoples fears and emotions to get them to back up and believe things that actually harm them but  give the real republicans a nice fat paycheck.  And people continually fall for it.  It's terrible. People need to stop the bull, be honest, stop being greedy, stop being a "politician", and start being human.

I love this guy.

I'm getting sick of both parties as of late, despite being an incredibly strong liberal, but it's nice to see that someone on the Democratic party is "manning up," so to say. And sure, you could say that it's just him yelling and being dramatic, but it gets people to listen. And that's worth it.
