yeah sure if by created the demon you mean she sort of edged her way into being involved in a situation that was already going to happen and in fact had already happened did 'he is already here' just wizz over your head or what I mean it sure was selfish and she sure is trying to be a gloryhog, but that's nowhere near complete monster territory.

Considering that we either have total responsibility as everybody in story seems to assume, or that they have no responsibility as is obviously the case from the outside, I'm going to assume that Vriska acts assuming that she's taking total responsibility for the creation of Bec Noir.
Therefore, monster.

AG: It means what it sounds like! He's already here!!!!!!!! AG: Here in our session, trying to hunt us down! Man, this should 8e elementary to you 8y now. AG: No matter what you or I or any of us did, Jack's here now. That's the reality! AG: And if I didn't stop you, it wouldn't have changed the reality for us here. We'd still 8e hiding on this rock, and he'd still 8e out there, sniffing around for us. AG: He wouldn't just disappear! That's not how this time stuff works. AG: All that REALLY would have happened is I would have allowed you to do something you weren't supposed to do! sure does sound like she believes she it was her fault

The thing about these situations is that they come about paradoxically as a result of people thinking that they are inevitable and doing all the things that make them happen in the first place. We don't know what would have happened had Vriska not done anything because she did, and even though it was inevitable that she would she is still fully responsible for taking actions that resulted in something horrible happening and knew it, so it doesn't really redeem her any.

Like the monster she is.

but she's talking to john there who she's done nothing but be helpful toward and told him about his quest bed and got him to ascend to godhood and even get to be asleep when he was stabbed rather than awake and stabbed anyway (probably not even on the quest bed) what a monster

Either something else would have caused the same thing to happen, or it wouldn't have happened, timeline would have splintered, and either the kids would be doomed somehow, or the kids wouldn't be, but would still be in an offshoot timeline in which they do not contact the trolls and the assistance they will obviously provide to the trolls later won't happen and all the trolls eventually get killed by Bec Noir. I can get the killing and crippling pals bit, even if I would disagree with it somewhat due to a different perspective, but the whole fulfillment of paradox space deal doesn't seem like a very good reason.

You're gonna carry that weight.

It's her attitude that makes me despise her more than anything else. She's exactly what it says on the tin: Huge ****.

Yeah, she is a **** and isn't a very good person at all. I still really like her as a character though, and I'm really hoping she tries to fight Bec Noir and gets the crap beat out of her. That's pretty much a thing that needs to happen given all sorts of everything.
