Er, this movie looked a little silly to me at first, but currently it has a 100% on both RottenTomatoes and Metacritic. Granted it has about ten review, but still. On a first viewing, it seems almost indecently smart, funny and sexy. The second time around... half the time I sat there marveling at the similarities of the story, themes and structure to Citizen Kane. The Social Network is the movie of the year. If Coppola were into computers, this would be The Godfather.

I KNEW IT WOULD BE GREAT FROM WHEN I FIRST SAW THE TRAILER. PEOPLE FOCUS TOO MUCH ON THE FACEBOOK PART RATHER THAN THE WHOLE TRAGIC RISE TO POWER CITIZEN KANE PART.

Since someone mentioned Citizen Kane, no critics want to bash it in order to avoid coming across as hypocrites.

This, now they're going to stroke their dicks to it because it's like Citizen Kane and won't call it out on anything. Personally, I always thought Citizen Kane was overrated it's a good film, but best of all-time? Seriously doubt it.

I personally think that the way Kane was crafted was masterful, and is one of the best in this aspects, but the movie itself I do not consider to be one of the greatest.

Just because something might be modeled after Citizen Kane neither makes it Citizen Kane itself, or worthy of any praise.

Floyd is the devil.
I SERIOUSLY DREAMT OF FLOYD BEING A KILLER CYBORG WHO RAN 10 TIMES FASTER THAN ANY NORMAL HUMAN, AND THEN KILLED MM, TURNED FEMALE, WENT AFTER ME, AND I DROPPED FROM THE SKYSCRAPER! IT HURTED, BUT I AWAKE CALMLY, THINKING I WOULDN'T SEE YOU AGAIN.

I wonder what people would say if I mentioned that David Fincher directed this movie.

Well, if The Town (directed by, produced by and starring Ben Affleck) has 90+ percent on Rotten Tomatoes, then this can be as really good too.
