Yeah, that sounds like a big deal, but... Something tells me it won't have as large an impact as it seems. Gonna wait and see how things play out in the long-run.

This is specified towards people under 18. Animango has a large base of fans over 18, particularly towards those containing the things being regulated by this bill. I doubt much will change.

It's meaningless. Anyway, I think that laughing at some of the comments on that topic is more important than the actual issue. If you actually think that a reform that is on par with "GameStop refuses to sell M-rated games to kids without parental supervision" will destroy Japan's economy or is a step towards a totalitarian state, you need help. Well, I suppose that's par for the course as far as ANN's community goes, but that's depressing.
