This must not be allowed to happen.
For the sake of my virginity.

Floyd is the devil.
I SERIOUSLY DREAMT OF FLOYD BEING A KILLER CYBORG WHO RAN 10 TIMES FASTER THAN ANY NORMAL HUMAN, AND THEN KILLED MM, TURNED FEMALE, WENT AFTER ME, AND I DROPPED FROM THE SKYSCRAPER! IT HURTED, BUT I AWAKE CALMLY, THINKING I WOULDN'T SEE YOU AGAIN.

Then they remake the remakes.... This **** could go on forever.... But I guess it's better than making a remake but disguised as a new film....

ITS NOT ROCKY WITHOUT TIM CURRY!!!!
IF THEY DO IT, I CAN ALREADY TELL IT WILL SUCK.
D< NO ONE CAN REPLACE TIM CURRY UNLESS ITS ON ACTUAL STAGE INSTEAD OF ON THE BIG SCREEN!!!
DX You can't lose your Rocky virginity to a remake, either. It has to be the original. Well, technically its not gone till you watch it on stage. (How I watched it the first time I saw it)

Meh, I don't have a good feeling about this one. To be blunt, I doubt modern Hollywood's ability to capture that Rocky Horror spirit.
Whenever I watch older movies, from before 2000, I just feel like they have this sort of....soul, that most modern movies lack. Hollywood just can't recreate that magic anymore.
The original Rocky Horror is campy as hell, with a rather nonsensical plot that hardly matters anyways. But it's because of those things that it's great.
I'm sure a remake would attempt to modernize it....make sense of the plot....and just ruin the soul of the movie.
For example, one of my favorite scenes in Rocky is when Eddie suddenly shows up out of nowhere for no reason at all, breaks into a completely random song, and then gets killed. This scene, in all honesty, makes absolutely no sense at all. Even when Eddie later becomes important to the plot, the scene still makes very little sense. But that's the charm. It's like: "And then, all of a sudden, MEATLOAF APPEARS ON A MOTORCYCLE AND SINGS! And then he dies."
But I can already see a remake trying to make sense of that scene, trying to introduce Eddie before that, or hinting at his importance or doing something other than just making him show up for no discernible reason. And, in my opinion, it would ruin the charm of the scene.
Lulz, sorry I got ranty....I just don't really have much faith in Hollywood.

It might just be a rumor but I actually recently rerad somewhere that the RHPS remake was cancelled which, in my opinion, is a really good thing.

Rocky Horror was a good musical movie for sure, despite the fact that it gave me a headache with it's Bobobo levels of randomosity (I don't like not understanding what's going on when I watch movies, it makes me feel unintelligent). Honestly, I think we can expect a remake of the movie to be pretty good. There are a lot of die hard fans out there, and no doubt the director will be a fan as well.

Actually, the movie isn't as random as it seems at first, it's just that half of the plot is explained during the songs and can be easy to miss. I know it took me two viewings to really catch everything because I had trouble understanding all the lyrics my first viewing.
