I just read an LP of Digimon World today, so I'm pretty pumped to watch 02 soon and then Tamers. Hell, I'll throw in some Xros Wars on the side. I just need to get my masochism special out of the way first, though. Only 10 entries left!

Yep. I never was into 02, but I'll just do it anyway because at least it isn't as insipid as Frontier.

I could barely remember anything about 02 until I recently watched some stuff about it, and I know for sure I watched the entire thing. Apparently it's extremely forgettable.
I did remember the ending though!

It's a less interesting version of Adventure, but it's still the Adventure continuity, so it's decent for that. It's not as good as Adventure, Tamers or Savers, but it's not bad. Well, except for the ending and surrounding arcs.

02 was okay. It's saving grace was badass TK and linking in the other characters from Adventures, and everybody knows the ending sucked.

I really like this opening. The soundtrack in general is pretty good and entirely superior to the dub that has one of the stupidest theme songs ever made but anyways
10 episodes in, and it's been more or less standard Digimon fare so far, except that there is no Digital World, which is pretty much what I thought of it when it aired. Nowadays my favorite sort of setting is a pseudo-realistic modern setting so I haven't got a problem with it, but at the time I thought it was pretty lame. The first episode did notably have a sort of Lain feel though, and apparently that continues when the D-Reaper shows up, but I never watched that far.

ps d-reaper is the best villain in digimon history
the d-reaper arc is worth the price of admission alone

Interestingly enough they actually managed to not screw up the d-reaper

ESH and SA2's profiles inspired me to play through Yume Nikki. It was definitely the most unsettling game I've played, and it was very interesting, although I didn't care much for the often far too large environments that are an enormous pain if you don't have the bike or use the chair glitch. I used a walkthrough to find half the effects so this didn't take forever and I didn't trigger several of the events. Including the Uboa event, I hit the switch several times without it occurring and got bored of it, and I already knew exactly what would happen anyways.
It was cool though, it was certainly unlike anything else, if nothing else.

I've seen almost everything expect the big flying thing in the white desert.... You can read about the stuff but it's just not the same if you don't do it yourself.... The big areas add to the whole unsettling for me.... The idea of getting lost just doesn't sit right with me.... You know even if you know about Uboa and try to do it you can never prepare yourself.... It still creeped me out.... So did what happens after you pass that rail rubbing thing....
I'm surprised that you haven't played it before.... I'd be even more surprised if BIZZLE said he hadn't.... But I'm glad our profiles got you to play it....
