Here we are, my favorite power metal album and the least metal album on the list. Redeemer is Machinae Supremacy's heaviest effort, in that it doesn't occasionally slip in and out of the territory of metal. Actually, Machinae Supremacy is pretty damn hard to categorize in general, but power metal is the closest subgenre that they reach, not to mention that Redeemer definitely is power metal. Anyway, this is the most played album on my Last.fm, but it's not displayed as such due to the fact that Redeemer has two releases, with a standard and Underground edition; I've used both at different points. It's not the most extreme album around, nor is it the most impressive, but out of every album I've ever listened to, this is the funnest one. It's the first modern power metal band that I've listened to, so I do place some sentimental value on it, but it doesn't really change just how much fun it is to listen to this album. The entire thing is completely entertaining from start to finish and extremely easy to replay without a diminished effect. This is another album that doesn't really deserve its place on an objective level; all of the previous three albums are definitely better than this. However, I absolutely love this album and I prefer listening to it over pretty much any other album in existence; on a list of my favorite albums, this definitely deserves this place.

The next album is very strange. It comes from the only band on this list that has only ever released one album, and it's the only member of its genre on this list. This is also the highest-ranked album on the list that isn't melodeath, so...
