I saw some infographic that showed what it said to be a pattern of Nintendo game and console releases. It said a new console was coming up.
Also, lol @ the prospect of Skyward Sword being pushed back to be on the new system.

I doubt it will be more powerful than a 360/PS3 until I see the specs. Would be cool, but I'm not sure until the specs are shown.

It'll have to be far more powerful than either the 360 and PS3, and will have to not be falling too far behind whatever MS and Sony are cooking up. Otherwise, ****'s gonna tank.

The Wii was far behind the 360 and PS3. **** did not tank, at least financially. Though that did target a wider audience.
And it'll probaby lag behind what MS and Sony will be making soon. But who knows with Nintendo, the new console might have something new and innovative.
